Time's Up
Well, I'm sorry to say this to all the Jetsam fans out there, but there's only a couple weeks left in this comic. Over the past eight months, I had turned my attention to a new project; I have designed and built completely from scratch my own art gallery and frame shop. Turning myself into a business owner and satisfying one of my life's goals has taken an incredible amount of my time an energy. I have had no time to draw, and this comic's been running on buffer for at least six months now.
I've satisfied my new year resolution of two years ago when I kept this strip going weekly for a full year, and exceeded it when I kept it going for another one. I have great ideas to continue the plot in exciting new directions as well. If I had continued the old path of my unproductive life, we would still be going. Jetsam has been a success because the setting and the plot have inspired in me many imaginative scenarios, and kept my full interest two years and counting. The interest hasn't waned, but my available time has.
In two weeks, this chapter will reach its conclusion, and so will this comic. Perhaps one day I will get back my free time, and continue the adventures in the future of Earth's orbit. Working on this had done many great things for me and my artistic development, the exercise will be missed.
I hope you've enjoyed the ride this far.
