Erick vs Erick

There are two Ericks. Smart Erick, and Stupid Erick. Stupid Erick has complete control over my actions and my mouth. Smart Erick's only role is to sit captive in my mind and witness the actions of Stupid Erick in a constant state of horror.

I think everyone has this. There's a reason for it that has to do with time.

You see, every moment I live, I learn. So my mind in the present is always smarter than my mind a few moments ago. I touched the plate, the plate is hot, I burn myself. But I didn't know the plate was hot until I touched it. Now I know, then I didn't.

It's the same with art. The next project you're going to do is always more interesting than the present project you're working on. You've already learned from this one. Here you've made the mistakes, the next one you wont. Therefore, the current project always sucks, you're just going through he motions because you want to finish what you've started.

That said. I would appreciate it if Smart Erick would shut the hell up. Stop beating Stupid Erick up all the time. If Smart Erick isn't going to jump in before the act of ignorance, then I don't want to hear about it later.

And from you stupid person: I don't want to hear it from you. I already heard it from Smart Erick. I already know. Worry about your own stupid.
