My Artistic Peak

I sold two paintings at my show this month. The buyer of one of the pieces may be commissioning four more to auction off at the Sacramento Film and Music Festival in August in exchange for some sponsorship and exposure for my shop at the festival.

That'll be four paintings in one month. I'm positive I can pull it off, having completed 3 pieces in May (two of which were the ones I sold). Even during the "downtime" in my creative cycle (where I gather more inspiration for the following productive phase) throughout June, I've been more slowly working on a single piece.

Being able to line up shows and events for the pieces has gone a long way towards motivating me to work on them. This time my paintings are more than just another piece for my closet's collection. The resulting momentum is great.
